Steve
Sacred bold lines
ABOUT
From a small village of Aughrim in Ireland, always artistic it wasn’t until later in life in 2005 that he began his career in tattooing.
Starting as a teen designing pub signage and later college with degree in fine arts and illustration. Steve rediscovered his passion for art during the process of being tattooed and after many painful hours of a half body suit was offered an apprenticeship with traditional tattoo artist “Sean Strange” of Steel Beauty in London UK.
His work began with a bold line work and an old school style, as his career continues he has continued to explore classic themes and styles such as Japanese, Blackwork, Borneo, Sacred Geometry and traditional western tattoo art. With a focus on playful bold compositions his work can take on a dark and sinister undertone, with beauty and death being a consistent theme.
Steve’s process for custom designs start with freehand outlines of designs directly onto the skin or sketching your idea’s on to rice paper and then developing them from there. He also has a large catalogue of pre drawn designs and flash available in the studio.
